This laptop has been discontinued and is unavailable for purchase. There are two customizable Tecra M11 laptop models. They each have similar base hardware configurations. However, model M11-ST3504 has more options than M11-ST3503. Among the notable additions is an option for a discrete graphics controller. This is a customizable notebook system. Consumers start with a base model and upgrade components from there. This laptop is designed to be a mid-level performance system. Thus the base configuration starts with an Intel Core i5 processor. From there, shoppers can upgrade the display, video card and other amenities. They can also expand memory and hard drive configurations. Tecra M11-ST3504 is considered a mobile business laptop. The reason is because it uses a 14 inch display, as opposed to a 15.6 inch display found on Tecra A11 Series models. This makes the M11-ST3504 an easier alternative for travels. Model M11-ST3504 also has a unique feature. It comes with a fingerprint reader. This is something model M11-ST3503, the other customizable M11 laptop, does not have. Note that while this is a performance system that is supposed to be customizable, there is no option to upgrade the optical drive. |
